Savannah MartinGraduate AssistantSavannah Martin is a graduate assistance that started in May 2018, but has been volunteering/working with CrossingPoints since 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Science Secondary Education from University of Alabama in May 2018 and immediately started pursuing her masters from The University of Alabama in Collaborative Special Education. Savannah is originally from Alpharetta, GA and has spent her last two summers in Tuscaloosa working closely with CrossingPoints Summer Bridge Program.
“This all started with my first Special Education class assigning me to volunteer at CrossingPoints and since then I have kept coming back. After the next semester, I was able to work with CrossingPoints Summer Bridge Program and knew I wanted to continue my education learning the best ways to serve these students.
