Zac Knight Picture

Dr. Zac Knight 

Graduate Assistant

Zac Knight is a graduate research assistant who started working with CrossingPoints in 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2007 and his master’s degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010.  Zac served as a graduate research assistant, graduate teaching assistant, and adjunct professor while working on his master’s degree at UAB. He is currently finishing his dissertation for his Ph.D. in education with a specialization in instructional leadership and will graduate in 2017. His research focuses on transition education and postschool outcomes for students with intellectual disabilities. Zac has represented the CrossingPoints program at multiple conferences throughout the Southeastern United States and looks forward to a career in higher education.  He is an avid music fan, traveler, and a lifetime member of both Delta Epsilon Iota and Kappa Delta Epsilon academic honor societies.
