Dr. Amy Williamson

Coordinator

      Dr. Amy Williamson is the Coordinator of the CrossingPoints Program. She has been working with the program since 2004, working as a volunteer, intern, and substitute before becoming the lead teacher in August 2006. Amy graduated from The University of Alabama with a BS in 2006, a MA in 2009, and a PhD in 2017. Her research areas include transition and other related areas, such as sexuality and disability. She has also worked with Special Olympics, coaching a swim team in Tuscaloosa County since August 2002.​
