APPLY TO BE A MENTOR

To foster the development of friendships between CrossingPoints students and their UA counterparts, the CrossingPoints program pairs UA undergraduate students with similar interest areas to serve as mentors to the CrossingPoints students. In the Tier 1 program, mentors spend at least 5 hours a-week with their mentee exploring experiences of shared interests such as going into the community or just grabbing lunch on campus. This mentoring program not only establishes friendships among the mentor-mentee pairs, but also supports the CrossingPoints student in acquiring skills for accessing integrated community and exercising age-appropriate social skills. Additionally, in the Tier 2 program, selected undergraduate students play a critical role as mentors in supporting CrossingPoints students in academic, employment, and daily living areas.

If you are interested in becoming a CrossingPoints Mentor, please complete and submit the application.
